OSHA Alliance Program Construction Roundtable: Designing for Construction Safety Short Course
The OSHA Alliance Program Construction Roundtable developed this Designing for Construction Safety Short Course to provide employers, contractors, owners, design/build firms, engineers, architects, and others with information on how to recognize and anticipate construction hazards, and how to eliminate those hazards with well thought out construction design features. The course presents methods to identify and evaluate construction site hazards, as well as examines the hierarchy of controls to select the best design feature to either eliminate the hazard or reduce the risk of injury, particularly in the prevention of falls from height. The course includes a powerpoint presentation and instructor and participant guides.
