Hand trowels create pressure points that create stress on the hand and wrist. Hand trowels can be modified to better fit your grip and reduce wrist bending and pressure on the hand. Workers are using gloves to protect them from exposure to wet concrete. Wash up facilities should be available for workers to clean off wet cement immediately and before eating, drinking, going to the toilet, and prior to changing clothes before leaving the work site.
