Summary Statement
Do not stand on the top rung of a ladder. the ladder should be tied off to prevent sidewards movement and the fly fly section should be extended so that the top rails are resting evenly on a firm surface. The ladder should be set so worker can access the work area at about shoulder height (feet positioned about 3 rungs down). Ladder sections should be set so they maintain required overlap
