Roofing Debris Chute
Good Practice
This image shows an example of a safe work practice.
Summary Statement
Roofing debris chutes are required at 20 feet. A good chute will have guardrail protection so that the worker is protected from falling off the edge. Warning flags have to be 6 feet back during flat roofing work. The area below the chute dumpster is kept clear by the use of cones.
