Crane track lift
Good Practice
This image shows an example of a safe work practice.
Summary Statement
This is a crane lifting a crane crawler track. The worker is using a tagline to control the wide load. The crane signal "swing" is given by pointing toward the operator left. Use the manufacturer's designated pick points when lifting equipment. The qualified rigger must sure the slings are within capacity of the load lifted and that the crane hook is above the center of gravity for the load. Otherwise the load will rotate or flip over.
